According to the recent survey, more than 60% of the gamers love to play First Person Shooter Perspective (FPS) games rather than Third Person Shooter (TPS) games and when they ask the reason for that most of them wind up saying “It Feels so REAL..!!”..!!
I don’t doubt that because I am one of them.
So here is my list of TOP 10 FPS Games you should look forward to playing in 2018-2019:
- Generation Zero
Platforms: PC | PS | XBOX
Generation Zero is the work of Avalanche Studios, the team behind Just Cause Franchise & 2015’s Mad Max. Generation Zero is an open-world survival action FPS game place in 80’s Sweden. The Trailer launched shows, 4 kids, fighting off Deadly machines with small weapons and explosives.
Avalanche says that players will be able to play solo or in the squad with other players in seamless co-operative multiplayer. The trailer includes a host of military-style weapons, including sniper rifles, hand grenades and a recoilless rifle. A description on YouTube says that “you’ll be able to lure, cripple, or destroy enemies in intense, creative sandbox skirmishes.”
This Game has created a lot of stirring in Gamers because of its Story-line and Strategies enabling system. The game will be releasing in 2019.
2. Cyberpunk 2077
Platform: PC | PS4 | XBOX1
Cyberpunk 2077 is an upcoming RPG video game Adapted from the 1988 tabletop game Cyberpunk 2020, it is set fifty-seven years later in California, an open world with six distinct regions. In a first-person perspective, players assume the role of the customizable mercenary V, who can apply experience points to stat upgrades to reach prominence in the character classes NetRunner, Techie, and Solo. V has an arsenal of ranged weapons and options for melee combat.
With the first teaser in 2013, the game is all ready to boom up the market in 2019 with higher expectations.
3. DOOM Eternal
Platforms: PC | XBOX | PS4 | NINTENDO
DOOM Eternal is an upcoming First Person Shooter which is sequel set of 2016’s Doom. The forces of hell have attacked the surface and planet is under war-like situation is a basic storyline.
In terms of actual gameplay, its similar to its predecessor in terms of fast-paced, gory battles and smooth take-down kills with slice & diced of the innards of hell monsters of all shapes and sizes. It also has the Campaign mode in which you can play solo or team up for battles against ugliest monsters (gives me creep..!!).
4. Battlefield V
Platforms: PC | XBOX | PS4
Battlefield V is a First Person Shooter video game developed by EA Dice. The game will continue from its precursor Battlefield 1 mainly focusing on World War II.
Battlefield V will focus extensively on party-based features and mechanics, scarcity of resources, and removing “abstractions” from game mechanics to increase realism. There will be an expanded focus on player customization through the new Company system. The players will be able to create multiple characters with various cosmetic and weapon options.
The game will feature several new multiplayer modes, including the “continuous” campaign mode “Tides of War”, “Royale”, and “Grand Operations”. The Grand Operations mode is an expansion of the “Operations” mode introduced in Battlefield 1, which focuses on matches taking place across multiple stages to simulate a campaign from the war. The battle royale mode will be built around the franchise’s “core pillars of destruction, team play, and vehicles”. 19th October is the release date of the game.
5. Rage 2
Platforms: PC | XBOX | PS4
Rage 2 is a First-Person Shooter video game developed by Avalanche Studios which is the direct sequel of Rage from 2010. Players assume control of ranger Walker, who is free to explore the game’s post-apocalyptic open world. Characters will have access to various firearms and a wingstick to fight against enemies. Players can further maximize these firearms power by activating the Overdrive mode, which will also increase gameplay rewards. Nanotrites from the first game, which act as special powers and ability boosts, can also be used to increase combat efficiency.
The timeline of a game will start with 30 years later of the game Rage will feature the cast of both new and existing characters.
